Today's A New Day

REJOICE!!!! In It….

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Get Ready For A Shift!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“I have declared the former things from the beginning; they went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass.”
(Isaiah 48:3, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD:

Did you know that one touch of God’s favor can put you 50 years down the road? You can be at a lower position at work, just going along being your best, honoring God, and suddenly, things can change. One good break, one idea, one person who likes you, and suddenly, you find yourself at the top. You didn’t see it coming. Things just fell into place. That’s God shifting things in your favor.

Friend, God can cause opportunity to find you. He has unexpected blessings that will cause you to suddenly meet the right person, suddenly you’ll see your health improve, suddenly you’re able to pay your house off. What happened? You came into a shift. God breathed in your direction. What used to be a struggle is not a struggle anymore. What should have taken years happened in a fraction of the time.

Today, get ready for a shift! Start with a shift in your thinking. Don’t dwell on how things are going to work out. Shift your focus to how things will work out. Shift your focus to what God will do, and get ready to shift your life into the favor and blessing God has in store for you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for Your hand of blessing on my life. I lift up my eyes to You and declare that I am ready. I am ready for unexpected blessing. I am ready for increase. I am ready for the supernatural shift You have prepared for me in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – True Comfort

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you…”
(Isaiah 66:13, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD:

Oftentimes when people face challenges, their natural tendency is to seek comfort in things that are familiar. It may be work, an activity or relationships; and of course, we all know about “comfort food.” But, those things only bring temporary comfort. True comfort is only found in a relationship with Jesus.

According to Webster’s dictionary, comfort means to give strength and hope; to ease grief or trouble. No matter what difficulty you may be facing today, God wants to bring you comfort. Like a mother cares for her child, He longs to give you strength, hope and confidence. Turn to Him. Receive His love. Let go of things that would hold you back. Let Him heal your heart and give you strength for the future. Let Him empower you to rise up and overcome every obstacle in Jesus’ name!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father in heaven, I come to You today and invite You to fill my whole being. Give me Your comfort and strength and empower me by Your Holy Spirit to live in the victory You have planned for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Will You Do A Quick Experiment With Me?

The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” (Isaiah 58:11)

Let’s do a quick experiment. Don’t worry, it won’t take long.

I want you to think back to the last time something put you in a bad mood.

…Got something?

I don’t know what just came to mind. Maybe it was a fight with your spouse? A meeting that didn’t go well? Your teenager?

The bad news is that those kinds of situations aren’t going away. But the good news is that your mood doesn’t have to be held hostage by them. There’s a way to rise above the way you feel.

It’s called choosing joy. It’s a daily decision, and in Christ, it’s yours to make.

With His joy, your mood doesn’t have to be situational.

With His joy, your attitude doesn’t have to be dependent on having a “good” day.

With His joy, your demeanor doesn’t have to be dictated by your circumstances.

You can choose to be proactive, instead of reactive with your happiness. Instead of drawing from a source that’s limited or circumstantial, you can depend on God’s supply. -Stephen Furtick

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – A Brand New Thing

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun!”
(Isaiah 43:19, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD:

Can you see the “brand new thing” God is doing in your life? Sometimes it’s easy to see the hand of God moving, and sometimes the storms of life can cloud our vision. But no matter where you are in life today, meditate on this truth that God is working even when you can’t see Him. Like a seed buried deep in the ground, it may seem dark and lonely and there may be dirt all around, but that is place where life springs forth. Trust that God is doing a new thing! You can trust Him because He is faithful! His plan for you today is blessing. His plan is to give you a future and a hope. His plan is to do a new thing in your life. Let go of the thoughts of the past and open your heart to what God is doing today. Ask Him to show you what He’s doing. Ask Him to reveal it to your heart. Seek Him and you will find Him and see the brand new think He’s doing in you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, thank You for doing a work in me, even when I don’t see it. Thank You for the brand new thing You have. I open my heart and put my faith and trust in You in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Never Disappointed

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…those who hope in me will not be disappointed.”
(Isaiah 49:23, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD:

What a powerful promise we have from Almighty God! When we put our hope in Him, we will never be disappointed. Of course, that doesn’t mean that things will always go our way. There may be temporary disappointments, but we will never be permanently disappointed. Somewhere down the road, God will cause it to all work out for our good. With God on your side, you will always end in victory!

Are you carrying frustration, worry or aggravation about something? That’s usually a clear sign that your hope is in the wrong place. If you hope in circumstances, it will deplete you of joy and peace. But when you turn those circumstances over to God, when you refuse to worry, when you refuse to allow the temporary things of this world to dictate your happiness, that’s when God can do a work in your life. When you trust in Him, He will make your crooked places straight; He will cause you to mount up with wings like the eagle.

Today, choose to put your hope in the Father; you won’t be disappointed. Trust Him because He is faithful. Find rest for your soul in knowing that He is good, and He has good things in store for your future!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, today I give You every frustration, every aggravation, every difficulty. I release total control into Your loving and able hands. Speak to my heart and give me Your peace. Show me Your love as I place my hope in You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Rising Up

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
(Isaiah 40:31, KJV)

TODAY’S WORD:

We serve a God of increase. He wants you to continually rise up higher in Him. He wants you to know Him more so He can reveal His glory through you. He wants you to be blessed so that you can be a blessing to others. He wants to take you to the next level in every area of your life!

The “next level” looks different for each of us. For you, it may be seeing your family restored. It may be healing in your body. It may be a promotion at work or new friendships that you’ve desired. No matter what it is, know that God has your best in His heart. He desires to do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond what you could ask, think or imagine. He loves to do above and beyond and show Himself strong on your behalf.

Today, meditate on the fact that God loves you so much. As you submit every area of your life to Him, He will cause you to rise up higher. He will give you strength and take you to the next level in every area of your life.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, I humbly come to You giving You every area of my mind, will and emotions. I submit my desires to You knowing that Your ways are higher. Thank You for leading me and causing me to rise up to the next level in every area of life in Jesus’ name. Amen.
