Today's A New Day

REJOICE!!!! In It….

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Free From Condemnation

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live and walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.”
Romans 8:1, AMP

TODAY’S WORD:

When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are free from condemnation! Is there something that you feel guilty about? If you have repented, the Bible says He takes your sin and throws it as far as the east is from the west. He casts your sins into the sea of forgetfulness. God actually chooses to forget your sins! That means your sins are completely removed. In fact, they aren’t even yours anymore.

Don’t let the enemy dig up your past or try to make you feel guilty for something that happened a long time ago, or even yesterday. The enemy is called the “accuser of the brethren” and he works overtime to bring you down with false accusations. Be confident that God doesn’t remember your past. You are free from condemnation through the blood of Jesus Christ. The next time the enemy brings up your past, declare that you are free from condemnation in Jesus’ Name!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, thank You for setting me free in Jesus! Thank You for forgiveness. Thank You washing me clean and making me new today. I receive your grace and mercy so that I can be a vessel used by You today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Believe and Receive

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Mark 11:24, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Has God spoken things to your heart that haven’t come to pass yet? Sometimes when we are believing for things, it’s easy to let circumstances and the pressures of life drag us down. But when you make the choice to receive your promise by picturing it in your mind’s eye, and declaring it with the words of your mouth, your faith becomes stronger. You begin to feel more confident. You begin to feel more settled. You begin to have joy and peace because you know God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

What are you believing for God to do in your life today? Can you see it in your mind’s eye? Can you see yourself healed? Can you see yourself paying off that last debt? Can you see yourself at your ideal weight? Can you see yourself sharing the gospel with a family member or coworker? Ask the Lord to give you the picture of what He sees when He looks at you. As you open your heart and allow God’s thoughts to become your thoughts, and your receive His promises by faith, just like it says in the above verse — whatever you ask for in prayer will be yours!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, thank You for another day to serve You. Thank You for the gift of faith. I ask that you search my heart and mind and remove anything that does not please you. Give me your thoughts of peace and joy today so that I can learn to receive all you have for me today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Take Care Of Yourself

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“For God has bought you with a great price. So use every part of your body to give glory back to God because he owns it.”
1 Corinthians 6:20, TLB

TODAY’S WORD:

There is no doubt that being in shape spiritually is the most important kind of fitness. But being in shape physically is very important as well. Some people know the Bible well – they pray often and they know what to do, but they don’t have the physical energy to do anything at all. All three parts of your being – physical, emotional and spiritual – should be healthy and in sync for you to function most productively. Your body is the temple of the most high God, and you must honor Him with the care you take of it. Seek a balance, and try to be healthy and God-honoring in every part of life.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, thank You for giving me the ability to honor You with my body. Help me to take care of my body and make it a stronger and healthier temple for You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Jump Over That Wall

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.”
Psalm 18:29, ESV

TODAY’S WORD:

The great heroes of the Bible impress us with their strength of their confidence and depth of their faith. And as God’s Word tells us, you can do the same great things they did, because you have the same God in you! King David was supremely confident in God – firm in the knowledge God would give him the strength to overcome his obstacles. Philippians 4:13 says you can accomplish anything through the power of Christ in your heart.

We hope this will encourage you to take a stand for God. Don’t ever think that God did great things only for people in the days of the Bible. That same powerful God can help you jump over a wall in your life today! Just give Him an opportunity and you’ll see just how awesome and powerful He is.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, thank You for the invincible and unexplainable power which You have placed within me through Christ. My deepest desire today is to be confident in Your power. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Keep Going

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31, KJV

TODAY’S WORD:

Christ doesn’t want you to settle for mediocrity in any area of your life! His plan is for you to be victorious and filled with joy each day. No matter what has happened to you in the past, God wants you to pick yourself up and keep going on the path that leads to victory. The Bible says that if you will look to God, He will renew your strength and help you soar like an eagle. That’s an amazing promise from an amazing God! Keep pushing ahead even through the tough times, and you’ll be blessed.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, thank You for Your promise of strength and endurance when I wait on You. Do not allow me to get stuck in a rut or give up on my journey with You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Meditate On The Word

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Study this Book of the Law continually. Meditate on it day and night so you may be sure to obey all that is written in it. Only then will you succeed.”
Joshua 1:8, NLT

TODAY’S WORD:

To meditate on something simply means to think about it and let the meaning of it sink deep down into your heart. Meditation is a spiritual practice that’s encouraged throughout the Bible. The key is to draw on God’s wisdom found in the Scriptures, which are filled with the blessings and benefits of meditating on its principles. For example, meditating on God’s Word will give you spiritual success. That’s exactly what God told Joshua as Israel got ready to enter the Promised Land.

God’s definition of success in life is to know Him better. One way you can do that is to read and understand His Word. Another benefit of meditating on God’s Word is that it will help you keep your heart right before Him. The Bible is like a mirror that accurately shows you where your heart really is.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, You have said that Your Word is living and active. Today I will spend time allowing this living Word to search my heart, and make sure I am right before You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Experience Satisfaction

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“The fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; he will not be visited with evil.”
Proverbs 19:23, NKJV

TODAY’S WORD:

You can experience satisfaction. That’s right; no matter where you’re at, what is troubling you today, or what has happened to you in the past, true satisfaction is close at hand. It’s found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And along with the satisfaction that God gives you, peace and joy will flood your life to an overwhelming degree! This satisfaction and peace is not temporary, it’s not just here until something bad happens. Experiencing true satisfaction in God lasts for an eternity.

You can live the way you were born to live, the way God intended for you to live! With God’s satisfaction, you can live a healthier, happier, and victorious life for as long as you live.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, thank You for Your satisfaction that is beyond anything I have ever known. Strengthen me as I seek to serve You and find my joy and satisfaction in You. In Jesus‘ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Share Your Love

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Your love for one other will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
John 13:35, NLT

TODAY’S WORD:

If you know someone who is struggling, just put an arm around them and let them know that you care and that you have been thinking about them. To truly show them the love of God, stand next to them, pray with them and make a difference. That is the kind of life-altering love that Jesus showed as an example in the Bible.

Love is a perfectly good word, so don’t be afraid to use it. Jesus said that more than anything else, love will be the way that the world knows the disciples of Christ. Go visit an old friend, tell your family that you love them; or do something else for someone to express the love that you have for them.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, thank You for loving me first. Give me the strength to love others and to display that love for others to see. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – God Is At Work For You

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

” ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ ”
Jeremiah 29:11, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Too often, we think God is just out there – watching and waiting for us to get things right. God is a big God, but He loves you and He wants to help bring the best things possible into your life. God is at work in your life each and every day, blessing you and preparing you for great and wonderful things that you can’t even imagine! Your entire perspective will radically change when you realize God is in your everyday experiences.

Even when we are not completely faithful to Him, He is always faithful to us! Make God your hope and rely solely on Him, and He’ll faithfully work things out that will bless you, protect you and encourage you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, thank You for always having my best in mind. I know that You love me and want the best for Your children. Help me to be faithful to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Practice Excellence

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.”
Colossians 3:23, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

You can probably think of many times in which you simply did not give your best effort, or didn’t really try very hard. Every person, because of our human imperfections, sometimes chooses to be lazy and not try. But the example given by Christ, and the one mentioned in Colossians 3, is completely the opposite. Christians are to be the best at whatever they do, because they are to do everything as if they were doing it for God alone!

When you put your whole heart into whatever it is you are supposed to do, God will recognize that and bless you for it. You should strive for and pursue excellence in all you do, for the sake of God; He blesses excellence!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, I want to do my work and everything else with true excellence. Give me Your power to be an example of Christ to those around me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Open Your Heart

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
Ephesians 4:29, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Compassion is simply feeling what others feel, and then letting them know that you care about them by the loving way you treat them. It sounds easy enough, but it’s usually harder to practice compassion than it is to talk about it. But through Christ, you are more than capable of being a compassionate person each day. All that you have to do is be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit, and follow directions when He prompts you to act towards someone in need.

You have that “small voice” inside of you that tells you what you should do. Just listen to it! When you understand what people are going through, then you can understand their needs.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

God, I know that I have the ability to be caring and compassionate. Give me understanding and leading so that I can make a difference in other people’s lives. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – God’s Deep Secrets

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.’ But it was to us that God revealed these things by His Spirit. For His Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.”
1 Corinthians 2:9-10, NLT

TODAY’S WORD:

Who do you share your deepest secrets with? Most people only share their inner thoughts with those who are closest to them. People they trust. People they’ve gone through experiences with. Do you know who God shares His secrets with? This passage goes on to say, “Who can know a man’s thoughts except his own spirit?” As believers, God’s Spirit lives inside of us, revealing to us the heart and thoughts of God Himself.

God wants you to know what He thinks about you. He wants you to know about the plans He has for you. He wants to show you things you’ve never seen, heard about, or even imagined. You are His child, but you are also His friend. You are His closest companion. He wants to walk with you, talk with you, and share with you. What a wonderful, amazing thought — we can know God’s thoughts because we are one with Him. Open your heart and allow Him to share His deep secrets with you today.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father in heaven, I am so humbled that You call me friend. I am honored to be connected with You and invite You to share Your heart with me. I surrender all that I am to You. In JesusName. Amen.
