Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Treasures Within

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels…”
2 Corinthians 4:7, NKJV

TODAY’S WORD:

You have treasures deep inside of you! As a believer in Jesus, the greatest treasure of all is within you–the Spirit of God. You carry the most valuable treasure in the universe inside of you! He has also deposited many other treasures on the inside of you as well. You may not even see these treasures yet, but God has given you gifts and abilities that are tied to your purpose. He has fully equipped you to succeed in life.

What do you need today to move forward? What do you need to break out of your comfort zone? It’s on the inside of you. Proverbs says that understanding is like a well within and the wise person draws it out.

Today, draw out those treasures inside of you by speaking words of faith. Connect to the heart of Almighty God. Stir up the gift inside of you by praying in the Spirit and thanking Him in worship. As you seek the Lord and submit yourself to His leading, you will discover the great treasures within!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for choosing to live inside of me. Show me the treasures You have deposited within me so that I can fulfill Your purpose for me all the days of my life. I love You and bless You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Confess and Believe

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Scripture tells us that salvation comes when a person confesses that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart that He was raised from the dead. In the same way, God’s Word comes alive in our hearts when we confess and believe it.

The question is: What are you confessing today? What are you saying about your situation? Are you confessing the Word and believing that God is at work behind the scenes? Or, do you talk about your problems and always believe the worst? Whatever you confess and put your faith in will come to pass in your life.

If you’ve been saying the wrong things, it’s time to simply stop and turn your thoughts and words around. You can choose to speak the Word of God any time. Don’t just let your mind and mouth wander. Be intentional. Write down a few Scripture verses and take them with you. Be determined to speak the Word. Confess and believe and walk in victory in every area of your life.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, today I repent for anything that I’ve been confessing that isn’t pleasing to You. I choose to turn around and keep my mind and heart focused on Your Word. Make Your truth real to me today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – The God Kind Of Faith

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God…”
Galatians 2:20, ESV

TODAY’S WORD:

Faith is all around us. People have faith in so many different things: faith that a friend will be true, faith that your job is taking you on a certain career path, faith that the chair you are sitting on is going to hold you up! Faith is simply believing in something. But there are different kinds, or levels, of faith. We’ve all been given a measure of faith. The question is, what are you doing with it?

The God kind of faith will cause you to believe for things when you don’t even know how they’ll happen. It will take you further than you ever dreamed. It probably won’t make sense in your mind, but you have to allow your spirit to rise higher than your thinking.

Don’t ever talk yourself out of believing. Don’t focus on all the reasons why not; instead, allow supernatural faith to rise up within you. Meditate on His Word that says you can do all things through Christ, and you are strong in the Lord and the power of His might. As you rise up in faith, He’ll take you places you’ve never dreamed, and you will live the abundant life He has for you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, today I humbly open my heart to You. Use me for Your glory and have Your way in my life. I choose to trust You. I choose faith in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – The Apple Of His Eye

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Keep me as the apple of your eye…”
Psalm 17:8, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

In this day and age, people are considered to be important for so many different reasons—titles, position, possessions, where you go, what you drive. But God’s value system is very different from the value system of the world. If you’ve ever thought that God has too many other important things on His plate to be concerned with you and your life, know this today—you are God’s number one priority. You are the apple of His eye, the center of His world! There’s nothing you can do to change that. There’s nothing you can do to be more important or less important to Him. God values you because He made you, and your value will never change.

Always remember, you are significant. Your life is significant. The things that concern you, concern God. He carefully watches over every detail of your life, and there is nothing too big or too small for His attention!

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Forget Not His Benefits

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.”
Psalm 103:2, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

God has given us many benefits today! He’s given us so much to be thankful for. When you meditate on His goodness, faithfulness and blessings in your life, it will change how you see the world. When you focus on the fact that He saved you and set you free, the challenges and obstacles in your life will begin to fade away. Psalm 103 goes on to say that He “crowns you with love and compassion and satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed.”

No matter what you may be facing today, forget not His benefits! God wants to satisfy you with good things. If you need healing today, healing is a benefit. If you’ve made mistakes in your life, forgiveness is a benefit. If you feel tired and overwhelmed, strength is a benefit. As you turn your thoughts toward the Father today, He will fill you with His peace and strengthen you to live as an overcomer in every area of your life.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, I humbly come to You today. Thank You for receiving me just as I am. I choose to focus on Your goodness and believe You have so much more in store for me. I honor You and bless You in all that I do in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – He Lifts You Up

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair…He set my feet on solid ground…He has given me a new song to sing…”
Psalm 40:1-3, NLT

TODAY’S WORD:

Have you ever felt like you were in a pit of despair? Just like God lifted David out, God is going to lift you out. Where you are right now is not where you’re going to stay. There are brighter days up ahead for you filled with favor, promotion and increase. As you walk uprightly before Him, no good thing will He withhold from you.

Notice that God gives us a new song, but we have to do our part to sing that song. That means you don’t go around talking about your problems, how bad things are, or how you’re never going to make it. No, you have a song of victory! If somebody asks you how you’re doing, your attitude should be, “I’m too blessed to be stressed! I’m moving forward in strength and power.” Remember, praise precedes the victory, and the Bible tells us that God is enthroned on our praises. As you magnify and lift Him up, He will lift you up out of your despair. He’ll set your feet on solid ground, and you’ll move forward in joy and victory in every area of your life.

“Father, thank You for lifting me up to higher places. Thank You for putting a new song in my heart. I choose to sing and be grateful today for the life of blessing You have in store for me in Jesus’ name! Amen!

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – The Great Exchange

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:21, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

If you’ve accepted Jesus today, you are the righteousness of God! That means you are an extension of His virtue. You are approved by Him. You are in right standing with Him. Jesus not only paid the punishment for your sins, He actually became sin. He took sin upon Himself and into His being so that you could take God’s righteousness upon yourself and into your being. It’s the great exchange.

Don’t let sin hold you back any longer. Don’t let the enemy lie to you and make you feel guilty and condemned. First John 1:9 says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If there is anything in your life that is holding you back today, confess it to God. Let Him cleanse you and make you new. Remember, He paid a great price so that you could be His righteousness. Receive it by faith and be a reflection of Him!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for cleansing me and making me new. Thank You for making me Your righteousness. Show me if there is anything in my heart that is displeasing to You. I choose to honor You with my whole being all the days of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6, AMP

TODAY’S WORD:

What do you need today? Do you need guidance or counsel about a particular situation? When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Counselor comes to live inside of you by the Holy Spirit. Notice, He’s not just any kind of counselor; He is the Wonderful Counselor. He is full of wonder and amazement. He’s extraordinary. He’s the very best counselor you could have—He knows all things!

Do you need counsel today regarding your job? Do you need counsel regarding your relationships or an important decision? Do you need a counselor to act as your defender today? Call on the Wonderful Counselor. Open your heart and let Him show you His wisdom. Receive His truth from the Word of God. Receive His counsel from the godly people in your life. As you seek the Wonderful Counselor with an open heart, He promises to lead and guide you and show you the path toward victory!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for Your Spirit that lives inside of me. Thank You for the Wonderful Counselor that guides and protects me. I choose Your ways today. Speak to my heart so that I can honor You and follow Your leading all the days of my life in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – The Lord Is With You

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…O favored one [endued with grace]! The Lord is with you!…”
Luke 1:28, AMP

TODAY’S WORD:

You are favored today, and the Lord is with you! If you are a believer in Jesus today, He is with you, and you are endued with His grace. That means you have God’s supernatural power to do whatever you need to do today. You have God’s power at work, you have God’s power at home, you have God’s power in your relationships—you are empowered to accomplish everything you need to today.

How do you access that power? By faith and through the words of your mouth. The Bible says that if two or more declare a thing, it shall be established. Start declaring what God says about you. You and God are a majority. Receive His grace and favor by thanking and praising Him. Declare that you have favor because God is with you.

As you receive His favor and grace, and step out to do what He’s called you to do, you will see His hand at work and live in the victory God has in store for you.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for Your grace and favor in my life. Thank You for choosing me and for being faithful. I receive Your promises right now. Give me a revelation of Your ability at work in me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – It’s Only Temporary

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”
2 Corinthians 4:17, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

Troubles and trials are only temporary. In fact, today’s verse tells us they are momentary. Compared with eternity, our troubles don’t last long at all! When you stand strong in faith during times of adversity, Scripture says that you are achieving eternal glory. When you confess your trust and reliance on God, you are passing the test.

If you are in the middle of tough times today, look to Jesus. The Bible says that He is the Author and Finisher of your faith. He is the one who writes faith on your heart and then develops it to completion on the inside of you. Your part is to open your heart and choose words of faith and victory.

Remember, your words set the course for your life. As you remind yourself that your troubles are only momentary and confess your trust and hope in Him, you will see His hand moving in your life. Focus on that eternal glory every day. As you do, you’ll move forward in victory and experience all He has for you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for working Your eternal glory in me. I cast my cares on You, knowing that my trials and troubles are only temporary. Thank You for Your eternal blessing on my life today and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – His Power At Work

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Ephesians 3:20, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

God is able to do more than you could ever ask or imagine! But notice, this verse says it’s according to the power that is at work within you. How does God’s power work within you? His power works in you when you are walking in love. It is at work in you when you choose to forgive those who have wronged you. God’s power is at work in you when you bow before Him with an open and humble heart. He is at work in you when you are serving others and putting their needs above your own.

Remember, God wants to move on your behalf. He loves to bless you! Choose today to let God’s power work in and through you by choosing to walk in love!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for choosing to bless me. I invite You to work in my life today. Show me how to walk in Your love so that Your power will flow through me today in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – New Places

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…you have not passed this way before.”
Joshua 3:4, ESV

TODAY’S WORD:

God desires to take you to new places in your life. He wants to take you to deeper places in your walk with Him, and He wants to take you into higher places of blessing in your life. Are you ready to go to places that you’ve never been before?

So many people today get stuck in a rut because they don’t want to get out of their comfort zone. They want to stay with what they know because it’s familiar.

But in order for you to reach your full potential, you have to be willing to step out into the unknown. You won’t ever walk on water until you step out of the boat! We all have areas where we can rise higher. Open your heart today and be ready to step out into the unknown. Trust that the Lord will guide and order your every step. Begin to expect that the unexpected is on the way. Be ready to step out into new places.

“Father, thank You for bringing me increase in every area of my life. Thank You for taking me to new places. I expect that You are working behind the scenes in my life, and I open my heart to all You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
