Today's A New Day

REJOICE!!!! In It….

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – The Greatness Of His Favor

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us…raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”
(Ephesians 2:4-7, NKJV)

TODAY’S WORD:

Oftentimes, people set their focus on what God has done in the past—how He parted the Red Sea or stopped the sun for Joshua or fed thousands of people with just a little boy’s small lunch. Yes, God has performed many amazing miracles throughout history. And it’s important that we give Him praise, but at the same time, we also have to look forward to what God wants to do in our lives today.

In today’s verse, Paul says that “in the ages to come” God would do things that exceed anything He’s ever done before. I believe that the “ages to come” is this day and time we’re living in right now. God wants to outdo Himself in our generation!

Remember, God is a God of increase. Where you are today is not where you are supposed to stay. He has greater levels of His favor and blessing in store for your future. Dare to dream big! Dare to keep a God-sized vision in front of you! Dare to take hold of every spiritual blessing He has in store for you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for showing me Your love. Today I open my heart and mind to You so that I can see the greatness of what You want to do in my life. Use me for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Seeing Potential In Others

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”
Ephesians 6:18, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

It’s easy to be someone’s friend when they’ve got it all together, when they’re walking in blessing and prosperity. Anybody can believe in people after they’re successful, after they graduate, after they’re promoted, after they get their big break. But, people need our prayer and support the most before they get their breakthrough. They need us to look past their faults and failures and see their potential.

Most times, people just need a little bit of encouragement to keep them moving forward. You may have some good advice that could save someone a lot of heartache and pain. Don’t keep it to yourself. Pick up the phone. Help them win. They may need to just hear, “I’m praying for you.”

Remember, you are the hands and feet of Jesus. When you help others rise higher, you are fulfilling His mission. Today, share your love, support and encouragement. Invest life in others, see their potential, pray for them, and together, you’ll rise higher into the blessing God has for you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, thank You for giving me influence with the people in my life. Thank You for equipping me to help others rise higher. I commit to pray for others and encourage people to be all You called them to be in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

That According To The Riches Of His Glory (Ephesians 3:16-21)

” that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith–that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:16-21 ESV)

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Destined For A Blessing

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
Ephesians 2:10, AMP

TODAY’S WORD:

arranged for you? Everything you need to live as an overcomer is inside of you by the power of the Holy Spirit. As a believer, there are seeds of success on the inside of you. There are blessings in store for you. If you’ll get into agreement with God in your thoughts, attitudes, words and actions, then you will be positioned to receive all of His spiritual blessings.

Choose to start your day by declaring what God says about you. Declare, “I am blessed. I am prosperous. I am healthy and strong. I

have favor. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath.” Friend, when you start speaking like that, all of heaven takes notice. Your faith activates His plan for your life. Angels are dispatched on your behalf. Blessings are set in motion. Before you know it, you are living the good life He promised and moving forward into the destiny of blessing He has in store for you!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father in heaven, thank You for loving me and for setting me up for blessing. I choose to speak Your truth over my life so that I can be all that You’ve called me to be. I honor You today and always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Free From Comparison

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
(Ephesians 2:10, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD:

Are you comfortable in your own skin? In other words, do you recognize yourself as the treasure God made you, or are you constantly looking for approval and comparing yourself to a neighbor, co-worker or friend? Do you try to out-dress them or out-perform them? Are you always looking for ways to one-up others?

Friend, it’s time to let all of that go. Comparison is a distraction. Comparison is a thief. It steals your time, energy, focus and joy. You aren’t here to impress anybody; you don’t have to prove anything because you are God’s special workmanship. He created you with a purpose for a purpose. You are empowered and equipped to do everything He’s called you to do.

If you will choose to stay free from a spirit of competition and just run your own race in life, not only will you enjoy your life more, but you’ll see your gifts and talents come out to the full. You’ll see His blessing and favor in a greater way, and you’ll move forward into the life of victory He has in store!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Heavenly Father, thank You for setting me free from competition. I choose to rest in You knowing that I am Your workmanship. Thank You for directing and ordering my steps. I bless and praise You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
