TODAY’S WORD:

Confidence is strength that comes from knowing that God has chosen you and equipped you for everything in life today. It doesn’t matter what you may be facing, you can find confidence in God. Know this, for every challenge, God has a solution. He wants to turn your obstacle into an opportunity. He wants to bring you out stronger than before. He wants to take you to higher places and let your soul find refuge and shelter in Him. When your confidence is in God, you can rest in the midst of the storms of life.

Take a step of faith today and begin to thank Him for working in your life. Thank Him for the confidence that He has promised you. Remember, God is at work on your behalf. He will fill your heart with His peace, confidence and power to move forward into the abundant life He has for you!

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – The Lord Is With You

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…O favored one [endued with grace]! The Lord is with you!…”
Luke 1:28, AMP

TODAY’S WORD:

You are favored today, and the Lord is with you! If you are a believer in Jesus today, He is with you, and you are endued with His grace. That means you have God’s supernatural power to do whatever you need to do today. You have God’s power at work, you have God’s power at home, you have God’s power in your relationships—you are empowered to accomplish everything you need to today.

How do you access that power? By faith and through the words of your mouth. The Bible says that if two or more declare a thing, it shall be established. Start declaring what God says about you. You and God are a majority. Receive His grace and favor by thanking and praising Him. Declare that you have favor because God is with you.

As you receive His favor and grace, and step out to do what He’s called you to do, you will see His hand at work and live in the victory God has in store for you.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – When Things Look Hopeless

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”
Habakkuk 3:17-18, NIV

TODAY’S WORD:

The prophet Habakkuk knew what to do when things seemed completely hopeless. When he wrote this verse, his world was literally falling apart. He had nothing. Things seemed destitute. So what did Habakkuk do? He rejoiced and praised the Lord in spite of everything. He knew that God was bigger than His problems, and He already had a way to get Him out of those circumstances. Habakkuk was looking beyond His problems to what God could do in His life!

Let’s follow Habakkuk’s example. When something bad happens to you, thank God — not because you’re suffering, but because you know He has the answer. When things look hopeless, praise Him because He will bring hope to your circumstances!

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – Just Look Up!

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

TODAY’S WORD:

Anytime you are facing an issue, the first thing you should do before you call your friend, before you search the internet should be to simply look up. When you look up with your spiritual eyes toward God, that’s when you have your perspective in the right place. That’s when His love will empower you and lead you. He already has the answer to your problems anyway. When you look to Him, you’ll find help!

Don’t let the enemy distract you with the cares of this earthly realm. Just look up by keeping your heart and mind focused on Him.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

“Father, I know that when I keep my mind stayed on You, I will find peace in the midst of the storm. Thank You for giving me the answers I need and for being my help in troubled times in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen – When God Smiles

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“They did not conquer by their own strength and skill, but by your mighty power and because you smiled upon them and favored them.”
Psalm 44:3, TLB

TODAY’S WORD:

Do you need supernatural strength to conquer something in your life today? Maybe you need strength on your job or to overcome an addiction. Maybe you need strength to deal with a difficult person in your life. No matter what you may be facing, God has supernatural strength for you in every situation!

It’s interesting that this verse says they conquered “because God smiled upon them and favored them.” When God smiles on you, He is empowering you. Did you know that simply calling on God causes Him to smile? It pleases Him when you come to Him. When you surrender yourself to Him, that’s when you receive His favor and strength.

Today, know that God loves to show Himself strong on your behalf. Turn to Him, call on Him and surrender every area of your life to Him. Let Him fill you with His joy and supernatural strength to overcome in every area of your life!

TODAY’S WORD:

Surround yourself with the right people and you can fulfill the dreams God gives you. Put yourself in relationships with people who are not only like-minded, but are also seeking to honor God in their own lives. Here is a thought to consider today: if your friends don’t point you toward God’s goal for you, then they’re not very good friends. You want to be around dream-builders, not dream-crashers!

When you prune the relationships around you, you’re not cutting things out of your life; you’re making room for growth so that you can reach your God-given potential! When you make room for God’s best, you can walk away from the lesser things that the world has to offer.

TODAY’S WORD:

Relationships are so important to God. First, our relationship with Him and then our relationships with other people.

In this day and age, we have so many wonderful, modern conveniences. We communicate through our computers, PDA’s and cell phones. We email and text and check off our lists. And all that’s great, but we have to remember that relationship is so much more than texting and email. Relationships are about sharing your life with others.

It’s about allowing others to know who you are, to help you grow, and hold you accountable; and then doing the same for them. Don’t ever allow life to become so busy that you aren’t sharing and connecting, face to face, with the people who are closest to you. Life is a group experience. Make sure you make time for relationships. Share your life because that’s what has eternal value.

Father in heaven, thank You for loving me, for empowering me, and changing me to be more like You. Have Your way in my heart so that I can be a shining light of Your love to the people around me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
(Romans 12:21, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD:

The scripture says, “We overcome evil with good.” In other words, when somebody’s rude or inconsiderate, don’t sink down to their level. Don’t be rude and inconsiderate back to them. No, if you are going to rise higher, if you are going to overcome, you have to do just the opposite. You have to show kindness, grace and mercy. It isn’t always easy; in fact, it’s almost never easy. It takes a lot of humility to treat someone with respect who is disrespecting you. But do you know what happens when you walk in humility? God gives you His grace. He empowers you to walk in His goodness. Scripture plainly says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Today, walk humbly with God and overcome evil with good. Show mercy and sow mercy. Receive His grace, receive His power, and receive His strength to be everything He’s called you to be.

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Father, thank You for the grace to overcome in this life. I choose Your goodness. I choose Your ways. Help me to show Your love and walk in peace in every circumstance in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TODAY’S WORD:

God wants to amaze you with His goodness! We are living in a day where God is increasing His favor. Maybe you have seen God’s goodness to a certain degree in the past; but in reality, you haven’t seen anything yet! God has favor in your future that will supersede anything that you’ve seen!

The scripture talks about how the glory of the latter day will be greater than the glory of the former day. That means what God did for your parents or grandparents, He’s going to surpass in your generation. The blessing and favor of past generations were good, but we serve a God of increase! He has greater things in store for your future!

Today, get your hopes up! Enlarge your vision. Be expecting God to bring opportunities across your path. Be expecting to meet the right people and get the right breaks. Prepare your heart and mind to receive the increase and expect to see greater things in your future!

PRAYER FOR TODAY:

Today’s Word With Joel &Victoria Osteen – Answer The Door

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“…Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
(Psalm 30:5, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD:

Scripture says that joy comes in the morning. When you wake up each morning, God sends you a special delivery of joy. It comes knocking at your door. When you get up in faith and make the declaration that “this is going to be a good day,” do you know what you just did? You just answered the door. You just received the gift of joy that God sent to you. The problem is that some people never answer the door. Joy has been knocking for months and months, years and years saying, “Come on! Let me in! You can be happy! You can cheer up! You can enjoy your life!”

Why don’t you make up your mind to answer the door for joy! Decide to wake up every morning and say, “Father, thank You for another beautiful day. I’m going to be happy. I’m going to enjoy this day. I’m going to brighten somebody else’s life. I am choosing to answer the door and receive Your gift of joy, today!”

Father, thank You for joy. Thank You for peace. Thank You for walking me through the difficult times. I choose to answer the door for joy every single morning so that I can walk in the strength You have given to me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TODAY’S WORD:

You are equipped with everything you need to fulfill your passion and purpose in this life! Everything you need is on the inside of you—like deep waters. You draw those deep things out when you stay open and humble before the Lord. You draw those things out when you are submitted to His Word. That’s what makes you a person of understanding. Proverbs also tells us that a person of understanding delights in wisdom. A person of understanding is even-tempered. A person of understanding is not easily led astray and maintains peace and order. (Prov. 10:23; 15:21; 17:27; 28:2)

Don’t just live on the surface of life today. Draw from the resources that God has placed on the inside of you. As you keep your heart open by obeying the Word of God, His purposes will become clearer; His provision will be more clearly seen. His direction for you will unfold so you can move forward confidently in the direction of your dreams!

Today’s Word With Joel &Victoria Osteen – Heaven’s Currency

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:

“And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive.”
(Matthew 21:22, AMP)

TODAY’S WORD:

In the natural realm, we exchange money for the things we want and need. But in the spiritual realm, faith is what we exchange. The Bible tells us that when you pray, have faith, and you will receive it. Faith moves mountains. Faith pleases God. Faith is what opens spiritual doors. What is faith? It’s believing in God and His goodness. It’s knowing that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Faith is believing that the promises of God are true. It’s obeying His Word. Faith causes you to act.

Where does faith come from? It’s a gift from God. Everyone is given a measure of faith, but we have to steward it and help it grow. Romans tell us that faith grows by hearing the Word of God. The more you hear the Word of God, the more your faith will grow. The more your faith grows, the more you will see the promises of God come to pass in every area of your life. Remember, faith is heaven’s currency. So invest your faith by investing time in His Word!

Father, thank You for giving me a measure of faith. Thank You for the gift of Your Word which is a light to my path and helps me grow in You. I choose to set my heart and mind on Your Word and listen as You speak Your truth to my heart in Jesus’ name. Amen!
